Tell us a little bit about yourself. Where do you live? What do you do in daily life? When did you start playing lacrosse?
I am 24 years old, I was born in Annapolis, Maryland. Grew up in Edenton, North Carolina and I am currently coaching in Annapolis, MD. I’m also a firefighter in my county for 8 years. I enjoy crabbing and fishing on the Chesapeake and spending time with my family. I have three half sisters and two half brothers who all reside in North Carolina. I’ve been playing lacrosse since I was 6 and have enjoyed every bit of it and the friends I’ve made through the game!
Congratulations with your spot on the team! What was the first thing you did when you heard?
The first thing I did when I received the call asking me to play, was say yes and then I went to the bar and had a tall Dutch beer to celebrate.
What are you most looking forward to in Denver
What I am most looking forward to Denver is seeing some of my friends I’ve played with in the past and meeting my teammates and coaching staff and having an awesome 3 weeks with all of them and representing my fathers country!
What are your expectations for Denver?
My expectations aren’t personal but more as a team to finish in the top 8 and sweep our first group play.
How do you interpret “Destination Denver and Beyond”?
I interpret it as a sweet location that the whole world of lacrosse is going to come play at and have one hell of a time together! And grow the game to new heights!
