Dag 13: zaterdag 12 juli. Vanmorgen konden we iets langer uitslapen, 07.15 uur ontbijt en om 8 uur vertrok de bus. Na de warming up begon om 11.30 de wedstrijd tegen Noorwegen. Het was gelukkig in het begin bewolkt en niet zo warm. Het was een vreselijk spannende wedstrijd en beide teams waren behoorlijk aan elkaar gewaagd. Helaas heeft Noorwegen in overtime gewonnen met 12-11. Helaas hadden de jongens niet veel tijd om bij te komen en met de familie te praten, want de bus stond al weer te wachten. Vanmiddag had iedereen even tijd voor zichzelf en om zich voor te bereiden op de wedstrijd van morgen tegen Italië. En dan gaan we gewoon weer knallen!

Day 13: Saturday July 12th. This morning we didn’t have to rise that early, breakfast was at 7.15 am and the bus for the stadium left at 8 am. After the warming up, the game vs Norway kicked off at 10.30 am and luckily at that time it was a bit cloudy and not so warm. It was a thrilling game in which the score went up equally. Unfortunately, in overtime team Norway decided the game in their favour and won 12-11. Much to our regret the players didn’t have time to recover and talk to their family and friends because the bus back to the dorms of Denver University was already waiting. In the afternoon all players had time off to digest the loss and to prepare for tomorrow’s game vs Italy. In our team we trust!
